LK Wet zone hatch PRESEAL UNI

LK Wet zone hatch PRESEAL UNI has a 60 mm-wide flange onto which the prefabricated 50 mm-wide foil flange is mounted. It has been tested and approved for installation in wet zones, however not in locations intended for baths or showers.

A current list of system-approved waterproofing layer brands, as well as installation instructions for connecting the waterproofing layer to LK Wet zone hatch PRESEAL UNI for each brand, is provided in the installation instructions. There is no test method for connecting foil flanges to vinyl wall covering, and therefore no adapted products are available on the market. LK Wet zone hatch PRESEAL UNI is not intended for installation with vinyl wall covering as the surface layer.

LK Wet zone hatch PRESEAL UNI requires a free installation depth of at least 65 mm, measured from the outside of the wet-room board to the front edge of the LK Manifold Cabinet or another installation, e.g. LK Shaft Base SECURE. If two wet zone hatches are installed side by side, LK recommends at least 150 mm between the cabinets. If the wet zone hatch is installed close to a corner, a minimum distance of 100 mm to the cabinet is recommended. A table with cut-out dimensions is provided in the installation instructions.

LK Wet zone hatch PRESEAL UNI can be mounted to a manifold cabinet or in the building structure. Accessories for both installation methods are included. The outer frame can be adjusted between 3–13 mm so that the frame is flush with the wall surface.

LK Wet zone hatch PRESEAL UNI must be supplemented with LK Tileable Design PRESEAL (a hatch that can be tiled) or LK Standard Design PRESEAL (a white-lacquered sheet metal hatch).

Parts fixed to the wall are made of stainless steel; other parts are made of galvanized sheet steel, white colour RAL 9016.

The product must be stored in a temperate, frost-free environment.
