Description

LK Frame/Hatch Slim PRESEAL UNI features a 50 mm-wide flange onto which the prefabricated 50 mm membrane flange is mounted. It has been tested and approved for installation in wet zones, however not in areas intended for baths or showers.

The current list of system-approved waterproofing systems and the installation instructions for connecting the waterproofing layer to LK Frame/Hatch Slim PRESEAL UNI for each brand are provided in the installation instructions. There is no test method for connecting a membrane flange to vinyl sheet flooring, and therefore no adapted products are available on the market. LK Frame/Hatch Slim PRESEAL UNI is not intended for installation with vinyl sheet flooring as the surface layer.

LK Frame/Hatch Slim PRESEAL UNI requires a free installation depth of only 12 mm, measured from the outside of the wet-room board to the front edge of the LK Manifold Cabinet or another installation, e.g. LK Shaft Base SECURE. If two wet zone hatches are installed side by side, LK recommends at least 150 mm between the cabinets. If the wet zone hatch is installed close to a corner, a minimum distance of 100 mm to the cabinet is recommended. A table with cut-out dimensions is provided in the installation instructions.

LK Frame/Hatch Slim PRESEAL UNI can be mounted to a manifold cabinet or in the building structure. Accessories for both installation methods are included. The frame towards the surface layer has a fixed dimension of 17 mm, which the wall material must be adapted to.

LK Frame/Hatch Slim PRESEAL UNI is supplied with a sealed exterior hatch in white-lacquered sheet metal, colour RAL 9016, pre-installed.

The product must be stored in a temperature-controlled, frost-free environment.
