Detailed Information

Description

LK 521 MultiFill® is a compact combination valve for easy filling of refrigerant fluid in the collector hose for ground source heat pumps. The valve has a filter that protects the evaporator against any particles. In versions 1¨ and 1 1/4¨, the valve is supplied with insulation to protect against condensation and potential icing. In version 2¨, the valve is supplied without insulation. The valve’s compact design makes it installation-friendly even in confined spaces. LK 521 MultiFill® can also be used in other applications where filling and filtration are required.

Arrows on the valve body indicate the flow direction. The valve should be insulated using the supplied insulation.

Water–glycol mixture max. 50%
Water–ethanol mixture 30%
Working temperature: min. −20°C / max. +60°C

Apart from cleaning the filter, no maintenance is required. The filter should be cleaned immediately after installation, after one month, and then every other year—or when refilling fluid in the system. Check the installation regularly.
