Detailed Information

Description

The calibration tool is intended for calibration and simultaneous chamfering of pipe ends on PAL Universal pipes, but can also be advantageously used for PE-X Universal pipes as they provide a cleaner chamfered surface than pipe cutters and pipe deburrs that are normally used for copper pipes. NOTE! The chamfering is necessary to ensure that the O-rings on the support sleeves of the couplings are not damaged when the pipe is pushed on!
The calibration tools are used with a hand crank or right-hand drill/screwdriver with a MAXIMUM speed of 500 rpm for short periods of MAXIMUM 5 seconds per time, the tube must not get too hot.
The handle on the hand crank can advantageously be dismantled and used as a quick coupling on power tools.
