Zero tolerance for water damage
Each year, water damage in Sweden costs five billion SEK. Leaking piping systems for heating, water and sewage are the major culprits and cause over sixty per cent of the damage.

Industry rules on Safe Water Installation
The industry is now accepting its responsibility and introducing "Industry rules on Safe Water Installation". This is being done to increase the level of knowledge in the industry. Trained fitters are certified with personal certification.
Products approved according to industry rules are earmarked in "VVS-info’s" article database.
LK Universal system is approved and all the products are in the article database.
Insurance companies have taken part in developing sector rules and stand behind them.
We at LK are engaged in continuous development work. We put a lot of effort into attaining the highest safety and quality in our products and systems. It has thus felt natural for us to play an active role in developing industry rules.
The Swedish state asks for our advice
As a leading and well-reputed company in the HWAC sector, we are an obvious discussion partner when new rules and decrees are to be formulated. As a referral body, we have contributed our knowledge to the Swedish Board of Housing’s new Building Regulations BBR06, concerning water damage.
Tested and approved according to "Nordtest"
The entire LK Universal system has been tested and approved according to the market’s toughest test, Nordtest NT VVS 129. A test method, common to all the Nordic countries, that not only tests components but also entire systems. The test method simply means that if, despite everything, a leak occurs, the water will not spread into the building construction.
Training
No chain is stronger than its weakest link. And no HWAC installation is safe if it is not carried out in the right way with guaranteed quality control. That is why we run courses in the whole of Sweden in which we teach, both practically and theoretically, how our Universal system is installed according to current standards and our instructions.
Everyone who has completed our courses receives a numbered certificate to show that they have finished and availed themselves of our complete course in the LK Universal system. Don’t hesitate, then, to ask for our certificate!
